Frontend Lead and AI team member

The aim of this project with Dell Ireland was to create a custom named entity recognition model adeptly processes knowledge base articles by identifying references to products embedded within them to establish a seamless connection with a structured product database, allowing generation of links to product pages.

As frontend lead and an AI team member, I was in charge of the front end, and participated in the follwoing activities:

Frontend: Engineered a responsive UI/UX for a Chrome Extension that analyzes user-browsed support issues and recommends relevant products, boosting support efficiency by 20% and potentially serving over thousands users on Dell's support pages.

AI & Data Collection: Developed and trained a custom Named Entity Recognition (NER) AI model using Microsoft Azure, achieving an accuracy of 70%

Backend: Administered a SQL database containing thousands of Dell’s products and associated e-commerce links, optimizing data retrieval and user display functionality

Project Management: Led cross-functional teams to successfully deliver the project on time, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations. Implemented agile project management methodologies (scrums and sprints) to adapt to changing requirements and optimize team performance, leading to a streamlined project delivery process.
